WR1 (pronounced ‘WE ARE ONE”) is partnering with Primary Wave Entertainment to bring digital fanclubs to the next generation artists and creators.
WR1 (We Are One) is a free subscription based fan community platform that enables artists to convert fans and social followers into direct subscribers, reward fans and control fan data – all from an easy-to-use mobile platform.
Primary Wave Entertainment is a leading US talent management and publishing company representing more than 350 clients, artists and actors. Talent management roster includes: CeeLo Green, Melissa Etheridge, Fantasia, Cypress Hill, Natalie Imbruglia, Isac Elliot, The Go-Go’s among others. As a corner stone in music publishing Primary Wave Publishing has managed catalogs like Kurt Cobain, Steven Tyler, John Lennon, Def Leppard, Smokey Robinson, Hall & Oates, Chicago, Maurice White to mention a few.
“We are very exited to partner with a major entertainment company like Primary Wave to bring our technology to their artists”, says Geo Labelle Bokestad, CEO and founder of WR1. “Our mission is to connect stars with fans and provide new revenue streams to the next generation entertainers. This partnership is a great milestone on our journey”.
A recent beta test proves that WR1could become an important tool for artists in the near future. WR1 converts up to 35% of the artist’s super fans into subscribers. For an up-and-coming artist, 3.500 subscribers gain more than $50.000 in revenue per year.
The partnership brings mutual benefits to Primary Wave’s massive talent roaster, and Primary Wave’s CEO Larry Mestel (former CEO of Arista Records) will be joining WR1’s advisory board. “We are excited to bring WR1’s technology to our clients. Future plans includes launching an incubator management division in co-operations with WR1 to offer international stars US representation”, says Larry Mestel.
It is getting increasingly harder for artists, creators and influencers to make a living. WR1 technology is providing a sought-after direct revenue center to monetize fans through monthly and yearly subscriptions, merchandize sales, ticket sales, digital products such as emojis and ringtones and an option to receive deal proposals from brands.
No out-of-pocket expense is required to start a WR1 club and the business model is based on revenue share where up to 95% is reverted back to the artists. WR1 provides unique tools to create content on-the-go (photos, videos. polls, audio, text and live streams), lock down exclusives behind a subscription pay wall and push the content out to social media or directly to the fans phones with push notifications.
Special tools such as direct messaging and digital Meet & Greets where fans and stars can take selfies together over the app are offered to subscribed fans.
On WR1 stars gets control over their fan data that includes map and lists over most engaged fans at any location, revenues and analytics – all from one mobile platform.
WR1 recently released a video trailer explaining their services.
